Celebrating the first World Refrigeration Day, Öko-Recherche, the German environmental research and consultancy business, hosted a one-hour webinar in close co-operation with the EU Commission, looking at the EU’s approach to reducing HFCs through the F-gas legislation and introducing more energy efficient products through eco-label and energy labelling policies. The webinar was complemented by best practice examples to achieving both emission reduction goals.
Europe is a forerunner concerning HFC phase down and switch to natural refrigerants. In this framework, our presentation titled “eChiller – using water as a refrigerant for various cooling applications” was a great fit.
