Georg Dietrich was predestined to be a candidate for the “Sustainability” category. At Efficient Energy, he is not only responsible for the fact that the company has been climate-neutral since 2020 and has also been producing its products climate-neutrally since the beginning of 2022, he has also been part of the “Leaders for Climate Action” community as a private person since 2020 and determines his CO2 footprint every year in order to offset it by means of certified climate protection projects.
Georg Dietrich’s physical commitment to the climate is not neglected either, and in 2021 he collected kilometres for the climate in a sports campaign and supported the reforestation of a regional mixed forest in a tree planting campaign.
Efficient Energy’s vision is that only climate-neutral chillers and heat pumps will be used in the future, and so the company is driving a change in a refrigeration industry with its Bluezero® technology, which uses water as a refrigerant.
“Sustainable action and thinking is in our DNA as a clean tech company. We are convinced that taking social, ecological and economic responsibility contributes to our economic success,” comments Georg Dietrich, CEO Efficient Energy on his nomination in the “Sustainability” category of the Manager of the Year competition.
