Torben Eismann Appointed Head of Sales at Start of the Year.
Feldkirchen, 1. February 2021. Efficient Energy is kicking off 2021 with a number of changes in its sales division. On January 1, refrigeration-technology and sales expert Torben Eismann, who has been with the company for four years, took charge of the sales force as the new Head of Sales. Already from the start of February, however, Torben Eismann has been receiving support in the form of Roland Käferig, with further recruitments planned to handle the company’s intended expansion in 2022.
Roland Käferig bolsters Efficient Energy’s sales force.
Since February 1, trained electrician and refrigeration engineer, Roland Käferig, has been a member of the Efficient Energy sales team. Based in Hattingen, the native of North Rhine-Westphalia will be the new contact for Bluezero® technology in central and western Germany. Roland Käferig has over 20 years’ experience in the refrigeration industry and has acquired extensive expertise in the field of control-cabinet and process cooling. During his many years at Rittal, he built up a distinguished career in disciplines ranging from service coordination and product management for chiller systems to 13 years in field sales.
At Efficient Energy, Roland Käferig is now eager to start working with the Bluezero® technology which harnesses water as a refrigerant, and help customers understand the benefits of refrigeration using natural refrigerants. “I see enormous potential for introducing this sustainable technology in industry and am looking forward to using my network to advance the use of R718 in combating global warming,” says Käferig about joining the Bavarian refrigeration system manufacturer.
Roland Käferig joins the external sales force under the supervision of Torben Eismann who took over as Sales Director at the start of the year. Torben Eismann has been working in sales at Efficient Energy since 2017 and, from his base in Frankfurt, manages the sales force which at present is predominantly active in the DACH region. The company is currently working on significantly expanding its operations in 2022 and also planning further recruitments for the sales force to improve its responsiveness to customers’ needs.
As part of the management team and as Sales Director, Thomas Bartmann will continue to strategically manage the field-sales, internal-sales, service and marketing departments. He will increasingly focus on the company’s internationalisation and developing sales partnerships.
Efficient Energy just recently introduced the next generation of its eChiller refrigeration systems based on Bluezero® technology. The eChiller120, which provides 120 kW refrigeration capacity, can cover a wider range of applications in the fields of process and machine cooling and technical air conditioning. The new product, which uses 100 % water as a refrigerant and has 0 % direct CO2 emissions, will go into series production in the middle of the year.
To realise the 2022 planned expansion, the production facilities are currently being extended during ongoing operations, further staff are being recruited and agile development techniques are being introduced to replace the legacy processes. After the successful market launch of Bluezero® in Germany, the sustainable refrigeration technology is now enjoying ever-increasing demand in Switzerland and Austria. “The interest in our chillers and technology as part of an OEM solution is overwhelming,” says Torben Eismann. “The largely digital sales techniques employed over the past year were very successful; for 2021, however, my team and I are already looking forward to informing our customers about Bluezero® increasingly in person and helping them reduce their carbon footprint by switching to a natural and highly energy efficient cooling solution.”
