As part of the National Climate Initiative, the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA) is, amongst others, financially supporting the construction of especially energy-efficient chillers, such as the eChiller. The non-repayable subsidies for the eChiller must be applied using the electronic form provided by the BAFA – before concluding the purchase contract.
Beforehand, applicants can use the funding calculator of the National Climate Initiative to calculate a possible subsidy. The height of a subsidy always depends on the form of measure, the type of refrigeration or air conditioning and the performance of the chiller.
Further information on subsidies can be found on the BAFA website or via your local Efficient Energy contact.
Only companies based in Germany can apply for a BAFA-sudsidy, but similar funding schemes might exist in your country.
